Job Purpose

Support/be part of the decision making process of Marketing function, controlling and analyzing the investments plan and execution, brands profitability’s focused on profit optimization and supporting also the innovations projects, driven the CSP agenda seeking to optimize investments and ROI;

Understand and anticipate business needs, providing financials insights, challenging and supporting the strategy execution for each brand.

Main Activities

Drive Business Performance within Governance cycles (Month Close, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting):

Monthly analysis of  Brand P&L ensuring the right cost allocation rules per brand for all P&L lines:

Focus on Revenue and Profit VPM analysis with BC Commerce support;

Perform the ATL-BTL monthly analysis (actuals vs. plan), rolling and report;

Ensure consistent data (Brand P&L) uploaded in a monthly basis on BI platform and BPR, to provide the right insights to business analysis;

Perform monthly meetings with brand managers to discuss the key insights of the P&L analysis (cascade, highlights and lowlights…), risks and opportunities, and agree with brand managers key action plan and next steps;

Contribute to AP, SP and LE for ATL-BTL and Commercial Brand Plans (work out Key Messages with brand managers);

Perform activities of the closing process (ATL/BTL, Other Fixed Expenses) including provisions to guarantee accuracy and on time submission of the month close figures supporting audit when required.

Innovation/New Product Introduction (NPI):

Perform/project value chains, NPV Models, Scenario Models to reflect business cases and alternatives that can include new products, packaging changes, etc;

Challenge the Commerce, Supply Chain and Marketing teams to improve the profitability of brands/SKUs through new materials, packs, raw material, etc.

Commercial Spent Productivity (CSP):

Co-pilot with brand managers the productivity of commercial expenses to unlock resources that deliver low growth and challenging business models that deliver high growth, in order to accelerate the performance, channels and customers.

Control, Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure Marketing function follows the policies and processes ensuring the integrity of accounting records and financial information;

Ensure risks for the Marketing Functions are managed throughout the year; propose mitigating actions and flag risks to brand manager, marketing controller and strategic controller.

Talent Requirements

A completed Bachelor’s Degree;

Experience in the area of Commercial Control, Business Control;

Knowledge of financial planning and accounting;

Knowledge of brand analysis and profitability;

Hands on and Pro-active, Force of proposition, Seek for Best in Class ambition;

Challenging & Pragmatic approach when required;

Manage Pressure and deadlines;

Fluent in English.
