As an Instructor for John Deere located in Indaiatuba Brazil, you will deliver training to channel partners, company employees, and customers. In addition, you will: 

• Serve as lead instructor to dealer technicians, dealer & distributor instructors, and in company employee.

• Instruct technical training for dealer technicians in virtual and classroom settings.

• Responsible for delivery technical training in Portuguese including setup, validation, schedule management, administration and material readiness and final validation.

• Responsible for training schedule, working closely to Training Delivery and Operation team in Campinas Training Center to book virtual studio and classroom facilities

• Work with all division company Training Team (Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry) to understand dealers technician training needs and adjust training schedule based on request

• Keep strengthen relationships with Regional Training Groups in Hispano America (Brazil, Argentina and Mexico), acting as liaison between Training Core Team in US and Regional Training Groups.

• Implement the structured train-the-trainer processes for additional company and dealer & distributor network

• Support Delivery Team communications related to scheduled classes, new class offerings, and promotional efforts to drive increases in training participation.

What Skills You Need: 

• Experience working on technical, application, or computer-based systems with training or mentorship type responsibilities.

• Experience leading small cross-functional teams and facilitating work assignments. Developing and executing action plans to resolve issues and achieve project objectives on time and within budget for small, less complex projects.

• Experience in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.   Comfortable with general computer-based applications and similar equipment. 

• Language proficiency in Portuguese and English. 

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%. 

• Experience developing, maintaining, and presenting project phase reviews, status reports, project health metrics, and lessons learned with management and others as appropriate. 

• Experience in service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or development of training content of internal combustion engines. 

• Experience in a position working with the JDPS, A&T, and/or C&F training organizations.

• Proficiency with the John Deere University application, including working knowledge of the application

• Familiarity with JDPS global engine

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
